A. The Gallery of Science Awardees
The addition of the Gallery of Awardees to the existing exhibits at the
Heritage Center marks another significant effort, not only of the Academy
but also of the whole Scientific Community to further promote the richness
of Philippine scientific and technological culture. Six themes comprise
the gallery: Agriculture, Biotechnology, Environment, Health, Information

B. Packaging Showroom
The Packaging Showroom is another step to further promote packaging in
the country. It features the various packaging systems of both local products

C. Kidz Nook: Where Kids Learn, While Having Fun!
The Kidz Nook (especially designed for children ages 3-7) comprise 3 colorful,
sturdy and interactive computer, called Young Explorer, with printers
that IBM Philippines and EPSON Philippines donated, respectively.
Young Explorer provides interactive and fun learning experience to young
children and the teachers alike. Edmark, IBM and Little Tikes have jointly
come up with the Young Explorer, an all-in-one computing solution that
stimulates the young minds of children ages 3-7 and helps them prepare
for the future. It covers a wide range of subjects such as mathematics,
reading, science, language arts and creativity, and social studies.
D. Ornamental Plants of the Philippines: Aglaonemas
In an effort to document and publicize the Philippine contributions in
the development of Aglaonemas as a leading plant foliage, Acd. Benito
Vergara, PSHC Project Leader, came up with the booklet Ornamental Plants
of the Philippines: Aglaonemas. Aglaonemas are famous for their exotic
foliage and have become standard houseplants. In fact, most of these plants
that are cultivated around the world came from the Philippine forests.
